Do you realise that its Cortana's fault for sending the Pillar of Autumn to Halo? because she (is a traitor!!lol jj) came up with the coordinates from cote-de-azure  that agreed with the Cole protocol to lead the covenant armada away from reach?her fault that most of the crew from the Pillar of Autumn died...

When you say vendettas do you mean agendas?

Cortana and MC's mission was to gather intel on Covenant tech.  If she had jumped to a random part of space, and therefore most likely near no landmass/structure, the pillar of autumn would have been diabled, boarded, everyone wiped out, and then the coordinates forced out of Cortana anyway, and there would have been no hope or warning for Earth of the threat of Halo.

If you read the books, u read that the covenant were already there, the Pillar of Autumn just came at the wrong time.

I dont belive so. The covie fleet was already there so its not like she led them there. Also, if they hadent landed on halo, they all would have died, none would have lived.

Cortana just selected a random set of jump co-ordinates from the Pillar of Autumn's computer. She didn't plan on them ending up there, it just happened by chance...  Roll Eyes

In all actuallity, you guys are wrong.  Cortana did lead them there.  If you guys read the books and listened to the dialogue in the first mission of Halo 1 (Pillar of Autumn), The Covenant ships followed the Pillar of Autumn through the slipspace rupture, but since Covenant ships are faster than human ships, they exited slipspace before the humans.  So she did sorta lead them there, but she's not a traitor, that's what ticked me off about that guys post.  The Covenant found Delta Halo pretty soon afterward, so cortan just made allowed them to discover a Halo a tad sooner than they would have.  But if Cortana had never led MC to Halo, however accidently, they would have never had intel on the structure, the Flood, and the Covenant's goals so that humanity would have been ignorant to the covenant juggernaut and perhaps the Flood juggernaut, which would have been barreling for Earth.  I MC hadnt been there, the ring would have never been destroyed and therefore the Flood would probably have escaped and we'd be in a bigger mess.

But then, what do i know.   Cheesy

hey man they made a blind jump if you watched the first part of the game and she didn't know there was going to be flood on halo so don't blame cortana, captian keyes is the one who drove the ship into halo anyway
