I like First Strike, because it has more to do with the Forerunners. Also does anyone know what the Admiral cant understand when John tells him the story of Halo?

Why didn't you vote for it then? I just voted for it and it says only 1 vote...
I liked the whole conclusion of the battle for Reach. Or rather, the escape from the destruction of Reach! I also like the reuinion of the spartans.

I like The Fall Of Reach. Because it explains how everything got started. From when John was a kid, to when he kicked the crap out of some ODST's when he was like 14. I just love that book.

I cant vote because I like both Fall of Reach and First Strike too much. I love FoR because it explains the origin of the spartans. First Strike is awesom due too the reunion of the Spartans, and the fact that they figure out the Covenant know the location of earth.

Well, what do you expect? Master Chief's a rather selfless guy... LOL
Btw, to answer your question as posted at the very top of this thread, I only know of three novels in the series. To the best of my knowledge, no one's planning on coming out with anymore. The first three have managed to nicely fill in all the existing gaps, so there'd be no need for more, IMHO
.

Yep, I totally agree with you, dude. "The Fall of Reach" was my fave too...
EDIT: Posted this thread before coming across the "Next Book" thread, and then finding out they
were
planning on coming out with more novels. Silly me... oops... LOL

There should definately be more, I'm tempted to say it should take place in Halo 2 but the memory of the 2nd book "The Flood" is still fresh in my mind. -Didn't care for it much as she stated elsewhere-

I think everone can agree with me that both Fall of Reach and First Strike rock. I loved the beginnings of the Spartans and how they introduced the Brutes. I cant decide wich one is better, I loved them both.

That it did, HaloFreak. I liked how the author alternated back and forth from the present, with John and the rest being full-fledged Spartans, to the past, recalling events that took place during thier early training. And, of course, all of the action-packed scenes really kicked @$$, too (hehehe)...

Fall of Reach and First Strike definately. Fall of Reach for explaining how the Spartans originated and First Strike for the whole Unyeilding Hierophant battle. Both are totally awesome books.
