Minimal Age Restrictions

It is our goal to have a friendly and welcoming community for all. However, due to legal issues will not allow any persons under the age of 13 years to be a member of the community. Topics and discussions on the board may not be appropriate for young viewers, and is recommended that viewers be 18 years of age or older, but this is not a requirement. As with all rules, if the staff agrees an individual is not a good fit in the community we reserve the right to take the steps necessary to remove the problem.

Guidelines

These guidelines are not rules, as they have no consequences if they are disobeyed, but we believe any good member of the GD Community would follow them as if they were rules.

• Have an avatar (display picture).
• Take part in the polls, we want your feedback.
• Be an active member. You don't have to have the highest post count, but one post a day is not too hard.
• Share your ideas, but please make sure their appropriate to the subject.
• Profile information is not open to the public, but is there for all members. If you don't want people to read it, your not required to list it.

Rules

Nobody likes reading long lists of rules, so here are the major points in summary

• Search for answers before asking questions
• Don't post unless you can be helpful
• Posts should be in English. No code languages, 1337 (leet) speak, or encoding is appreciated. Correct spelling, grammar, and formatting should be used.
• ALL CAPS IS CONSIDERED YELLING! IT IS ALSO VERY ANOYING, TYPING IN ALL CAPS CAN GET YOU BANNED. Don't do it.
• Swearing should never be overused, and if it is it will lead to a ban. However, in general it is not outright banned from the forum.
• Racial, sexist, or any other discriminatory language and/or slang is not respected on this board.
• Posts appearing to be posted to cause problems/fights, are punishable.

Linking Rules and Spam

• There is nothing wrong with a link to other sites, as long as it is on topic.
• If you make money in any way from the linked site, it will be removed
• Spamming will not be tolerated. Spamming includes recruiting members for other websites.
• No advertising of any form is allowed. This includes: text, pictures, flash, and links.
• Links to sites with pop-ups, adware, spyware or potential dangers must be mentioned in the post. If not, the link will be considered spam.
• This is not a Hacking, Cracking or Wares forum. Talk about or promoting any illegal software or hardware on this website is not tolerated.
• We reserve the right to publicly disclose personal information used to register accounts whose sole purpose is to spam.

Administrators and Forum Moderators

The administrators of this site reserve the right, if and when the rules are broken, to edit, delete a post or topics if found to be spam, irrelevant, or inappropriate. We believe in "Second Chances" but not third. They also reserve the right to remove them with no warning or explanation.

Moderators reserve the right to delete/edit posts at any time. They may split/merge topics, move them around. The moderators will report broken rules to the administrators. They reserve the right to keep the peace of the forum, and to remove any content they find to be inappropriate according to their understanding of the rules and good judgment.

Moderator and Administrator abuse is taken seriously. Attacks on either will result in more severe punishment than others. Taking things through the correct paths will be more effective and you will be listened to more. Please contact Digital Wolfe for problems with any staff members.

You may contact an Admin or Moderator at any time, keeping in mind they may not respond if your question is irrelevant, unintelligent, or threatening in any way. Make sure you are polite and mature in how you put forward your comments/questions.

Disciplinary

The discipline system of the site is simple. We give you second chances, but not a third.
